Pre-Service Teacher Training Programme: D.El.Ed
- Descriptions:
  - DIET, Baghmara conducts pre-service training of 2 (two) years course with 50 intake capacity.

Short-term training, orientation programmes and workshops for In- service teachers
- Descriptions:
  - The institute provides resource support to the elementary teachers by organizing orientation programmes, short-term trainings and workshops.

Action Research
- Descriptions:
  - DIET, Baghmara conducts action research and assesses different implementation programmes under SSA and RMSA in the district.

Supervision and Monitoring
- Descriptions:
  - Being a nodal institute/agency in the district, it supervises and monitors the implementing agencies involved at various levels i.e. the Village Education Commitees (VECs), Cluster Resource Centres (CRCs) and Block Resource Centres (BRCs) in the district.

Courses

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme which can be pursued by students who have passed 10+2 (any stream) from a recognized board.
D.El.Ed. professionals become eligible to work at elementary level schools and similar educational institutes imparting elementary education.

Director Resources: Library Seating Capacity in Reading Room - 20, Number of Books - 3500

4 Days Workshop on Education Today Society Tomorrow conducted for Teacher Educators by initiative of change (IOFC) Panchgani, Pune.
